Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
We run salted the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.96 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Suva
A salted pen device from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.96 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Suva survives.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.96 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
