Apple pen device IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Apple in Suva: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on apple: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple pen device really costs in Suva
We run apple the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.64 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
