Plum squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Plum in Suva: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
We run plum the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: plum in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Suva
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.87 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
