Sour squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Sour in Suva: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Suva
Sour in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised FJ$40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.15 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
