Blackcurrant mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Blackcurrant in Suva: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.24 per 10 ml.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 23 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant mesh tank really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested blackcurrant in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Suva survives.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
