Mint pen device IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Mint in Suva: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What mint costs in Suva
Mint in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Mint in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint pen device really costs in Suva
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
