Vanilla pen device IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Vanilla in Suva: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What vanilla costs in Suva
Vanilla in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A vanilla pen device from the online options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Suva
If you are looking at vanilla in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.39 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
