Vanilla pen device IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Suva: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Vanilla pen device here
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.11 per 10 ml.
The short version: vanilla in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Suva
The honest read on vanilla: 8 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
