Vanilla box mod IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Vanilla in Suva: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What vanilla costs in Suva
Vanilla in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on vanilla: 6 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla box mod really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested vanilla in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.16 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.16 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
