Vanilla 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Vanilla in Suva: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
The honest read on vanilla: 23 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.21 per 10 ml.
The short version: vanilla in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
If you are looking at vanilla in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
