Tropical RDA IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
We run tropical the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical in Suva reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Suva
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Suva survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a RDA last?
In Suva we measured 7 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
