Tropical in Suva: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What tropical costs in Suva
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.82 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: tropical in Suva works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva
The honest read on tropical: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.82 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does tropical in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Suva we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
