Home / Tobacco starter kit IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist

Choosing a starter kit for tobacco

Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a tobacco starter kit really costs in Suva

Tobacco starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested tobacco in a starter kit

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
• Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where tobacco goes wrong

• Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.
• Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Suva survives.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for tobacco in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
