Tobacco squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Tobacco squonk mod here
If you are looking at tobacco in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.03 per 10 ml.
The short version: tobacco in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco squonk mod really costs in Suva
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.03 per 10 ml.
How we tested tobacco in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.03 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
