Tobacco pod kit IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What tobacco costs in Suva
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco pod kit really costs in Suva
Tobacco in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tobacco in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Suva survives.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
