Tobacco mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a mesh tank for tobacco
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tobacco in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco mesh tank really costs in Suva
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Suva survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
