Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.1 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.1 per 10 ml.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.1 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
