Sweet squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Suva: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What sweet costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sweet in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: sweet in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Suva
If you are looking at sweet in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sweet in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.25 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.25 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
