Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Sweet in Suva: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a cartomizer for sweet
If you are looking at sweet in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.78 per 10 ml.
The short version: sweet in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Suva
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.78 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
