Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Suva: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sweet cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sweet in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.98 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
