Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
We run sour the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A sour squonk mod from the best options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Suva
A sour squonk mod from the best options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
