Sour pen device IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Sour in Suva: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Sour pen device here
Sour in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.98 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour pen device really costs in Suva
We run sour the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
