Sour 100 ml bottle IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Sour in Suva: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.32 per 10 ml.
We run sour the same way in Suva: same 100 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Suva works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 100 ml bottle really costs in Suva
We run sour the same way in Suva: same 100 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
