Salted vape pen IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Salted in Suva: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
The honest read on salted: 7 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Salted in Suva reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Suva
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.59 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.59 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
