Salted starter kit IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Salted in Suva: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.87 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Suva survives.
- Treating the advertised FJ$46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.87 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How long does salted in a starter kit last?
In Suva we measured 3 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
