Salted starter kit IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Salted in Suva: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in Fiji
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run salted the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Suva

How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Suva survives.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.99 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Is salted legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
