Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Salted in Suva: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Suva
We run salted the same way in Suva: same prefilled pod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.5 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.

How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.5 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
