Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Salted in Suva: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a prefilled pod for salted
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.86 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.86 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.86 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
