Salted pen device IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Salted in Suva: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.49 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Suva
A salted pen device from the bulk options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.49 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
