Salted pen device IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Salted in Suva: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What salted costs in Suva
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted pen device really costs in Suva
A salted pen device from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.77 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Suva we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
