Plum vape pen IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Plum in Suva: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What plum costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plum in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: plum in Suva works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Suva
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.45 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a vape pen last?
In Suva we measured 7 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.45 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
