Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version

We run plum the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The honest read on plum: 8 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a plum RDA really costs in Suva

The honest read on plum: 8 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.

How we tested plum in a RDA

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.

• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where plum goes wrong

• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
