Plum mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Plum in Suva: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What plum costs in Suva
A plum mesh tank from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Suva
Plum in Suva reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Suva survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.76 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
