Plain squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Plain in Suva: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Plain in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.66 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Suva
Plain in Suva reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
