Plain refill pack IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Plain in Suva: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Plain in Suva reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plain in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain refill pack really costs in Suva
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.96 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
