Plain RDA IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Plain in Suva: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
A plain RDA from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run plain the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain RDA really costs in Suva
The honest read on plain: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.29 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does plain in a RDA last?
In Suva we measured 6 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
