Plain pod kit IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Plain in Suva: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Fiji
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.8 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain pod kit really costs in Suva
Plain in Suva reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plain in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
