Plain pen device IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Plain in Suva: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Plain pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain pen device really costs in Suva
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.06 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
