Home / Plain nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit

We run plain the same way in Suva: same nicotine salt bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

A plain nicotine salt bottle from the cheapest options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a plain nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva

Plain in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

How we tested plain in a nicotine salt bottle

1. Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.

Where plain goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Treating the advertised FJ$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.05 per 10 ml.
• Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

The rules that apply here

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
