What a plain disposable vape really costs in Suva
A plain disposable vape from the cheapest options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.05 per 10 ml.
