Plain box mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Plain in Suva: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
We run plain the same way in Suva: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A plain box mod from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain box mod really costs in Suva
If you are looking at plain in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.71 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Is plain legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
