Pear starter kit IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Pear in Suva: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run pear the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Suva
If you are looking at pear in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
