Pear squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Pear in Suva: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at pear in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Suva
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.29 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.29 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
