Pear refill pack IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Pear in Suva: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

The short version: pear in Suva works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear refill pack really costs in Suva
We run pear the same way in Suva: same refill pack, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.99 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
