Pear RDA IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Pear in Suva: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A pear RDA from the compared options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear RDA really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.12 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for pear in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.12 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does pear in a RDA last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
