Pear prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Pear in Suva: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
The honest read on pear: 24 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at pear in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Pear in Suva reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is pear legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
How long does pear in a prefilled pod last?
In Suva we measured 2 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
