Pear disposable vape IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Pear in Suva: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
We run pear the same way in Suva: same disposable vape, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear disposable vape really costs in Suva
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.38 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a disposable vape that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
