Pear cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Pear in Suva: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What pear costs in Suva
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.09 per 10 ml.
Pear in Suva reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Suva
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.09 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Suva survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.09 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.09 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
