Pear box mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Pear in Suva: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A pear box mod from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Suva
A pear box mod from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.6 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
