Passionfruit vape pen IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Passionfruit in Suva: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Passionfruit is allowed to say
We run passionfruit the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Passionfruit in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: passionfruit in Suva works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit vape pen really costs in Suva
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.29 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
